Canada Bound

On my way to dispose the garbage this morning, I spotted the loon below.
I heard loons during the night and hoped to see one before we left the area.
The loon was feeding in the bay.
I was excited because I thought the loon was carrying a baby loon on its back.
After retrieving my binoculars, I think the baby was a wing.

We left the campground early this morning and headed for the border.  We drove through rural New York until we reached the border.
We saw a little bit of Americana and wind energy technology along the way.

From the border just outside of Montreal to our campsite just outside Quebec City we drove in heavy traffic.  (ugh!)
Tomorrow we leave early to take the ferry over to Quebec City for the day.

We heard that this week is the end of vacation for Quebec Province.
We hoping for smaller crowds.
