Canada Trip Beginning

Marilyn and I left town on Saturday July 30th and headed north.
We camped the first night just outside of Cleveland.
It was a warm and humid night. Hopefully one of the last of the trip.

We left early morning and camped the next night at one of the Finger Lakes at Cayuga Lake State Park.
The next day we stopped in Frederick Remington Art Museum in Ogdensburg NY.
He was born 20 miles from the museum in Canton.
The museum was in an old house with a view of The St Lawrence Seaway.
Remington died at the age of 48 as a result of appendicitis complications. His later works included oil paintings of Upstate New York.

We are now camped for the second night in Coles Creek Camp In New York along the St Lawrence Seaway.
Last night our site was along the shoreline. I heard freighters and boat passing by in the night.

As we pulled into the campsite, Roger noticed a problem with his camper axle.
We spent today waiting for a repair to the axle on his small fifth wheel trailer.

The axle was almost split in half.

Tomorrow Canada
